Structural Strengthening

Structural Strengthening

We offer a full range of structural reinforcement solutions for a variety of applications, such as bridges and dams, industrial structures, marine and river structures, tunnels and arches.

Additional prestressing

This consists of adding external stresses to modify the stress state of a structure and make it serviceable again, or reinforce it to increase its bearing capacity.

Dry process shotcrete

This technique consists of applying concrete by using a stream of compressed air to spray dry material through a nozzle, with hydration optimised at the nozzle.

Ultra High Performance fibre reinforced Concrete (UHPC shotcrete)

UHPC shotcrete based on the world reference Ductal, sustainably reinforces infrastructures such as metal culverts under roads, dams and bridges, while helping to adapt to deformations in the ground.

Composite reinforcements

Bonded using resin to concrete, steel, masonry or timber structures, this is a reliable and durable reinforcement solution.

One of the main ways to achieve this is with carbon fibre fabric, laminate and rods. Carbon fibre is a light yet versatile strengthening solution, as it is insensitive to corroson, UV’s freeze-thaw and immersion and comes in various widths.
